From reserving the table over the phone to paying for the meal, the customer service was phenomenal! Harris took the time to call me back and explained the situation regarding wait times with it being the second day of Eid, which was greatly appreciated! We were greeted on the door with a warm smile by no one other than the restaurant manager himself! He kindly got us seated and handed us over to Ismail who was smart and professional with taking our orders and checking in to make sure we had everything. Needless to say the food was amazing but what really stood out for us, was the genuine 'can't-do-enough' customer service attitude. In a time where everything is automated and public service is poor, it was refreshing to see that great customer service still exists! Thanks again from the Khans (Nottingham).
Four of us had a nice day out in the Peaks,we were hungry and so Googled where to eat in Derby. Tarka stood out because of the excellent reviews,we weren't disappointed. The meal was really nice,but I've ate a lot of nice meals,this review is all about the excellent customer service we received. We'd ordered Roti with nans to follow. The nans took longer than expected,which wasn't a big deal really,but the managements response was. We were given complimentary Teas and a rice pudding dessert,they also apologised. The level of professionalism was bang on,exactly how you'd expect a well run establishment to react....and beyond. Would definitely recommend Tarka,especially Shiraz who went above and beyond.
The food That’s come out was amazing both starters and main course plate was heated. The staff were lovely. Definitely recommend.
